The discovery of my favorite author - Julia Kent

Continuing my need to read I had discovered something new to occupy my mind...romance novels. I couldn't seem to get enough and maybe it was my desperate need to escape the crazy in my own mind and focus on something else. I needed to be far far away and what better way then to escape into a fantasy world.

I bought one of those romance bundles for $0.99, who could pass up a deal like that, right? The first book in the bundle was Random Act of Trust by Julia Kent. I couldn't put the book down. I loved Sam & Amy's story! Then I discovered that this book was part of a series and of course I had to read the rest of the series. Who doesn't love a story where your jaw is dropping to the floor one minute, then you are hurrying to google something that you think couldn't possible be real...that is what made this series awesome. When I got to the third book in the series, Random Acts of Fantasy, I found out that this was also part of a huge multi-author series called Invitation to Eden. This island was amazing and I had to find out more about the elusive owner of the island, so I decided after read ALL of Julia's books, that I would start reading the Invitation to Eden series.

But first let me tell you all about Julia's books...

Random Act Series -
"When a rural Ohio fangirl meets the lead singer of her favorite band while he's hitchhiking -- naked, with only a guitar -- sparks fly and adventures ensure in this New York Times bestselling series."

What I love about this is that the woman in the books are curvy woman with quirky & fun personalities that make the whole series fun to read. Darla is by far my favorite. She has no filter and she is a force of nature that people either love her or hate her. For some reason she reminds me of my sister, Jamie. I find myself even now hoping to get just little more of Darla and all the craziness that follows her everywhere she goes.

Her Billionaires Series -
"When Laura Michaels turns to online dating at the urging of her best friend, she finds not one, but two secret billionaires. Torn between the two, she soon learns she doesn't have to choose...Check out this New York Times bestseller!"

These books are about Laura, another curvy woman who ends up falling in love with not one hottie, but two hotties! I have to admit until I read these books I had no idea that a triad relationship existed. This series is also in Julia style filled with laugh out loud moments, jaw dropping surprises and has made me a googling expert. (LOL) Laura's best friend, Josie, has her story in this series too and she is also Darla's cousin...so you know the craziness will commence.

Obedient Series -
"An administrative assistant finds herself unknowingly caught in the middle of a reality television show stunt with the corporation's billionaire CEO."

What could possibly go wrong with this scenario, right? This series is about Lydia, Michael Bournham & his best friend Jeremy. How many triads can their be in Boston...right? LOL Loved this story & I can't wait for the final book that will bring both Her Billionaires series & Obedient series together for the Wedding of the year.

Shopping for a Billionaire Series -
"When mystery shopper Shannon Jacoby meets billionaire Declan McCormick with her hand down a toilet in the men’s room of one of his stores, it’s love at first flush in this hilarious new romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Julia Kent."

This series is my favorite. I love Shannon & her crazy mom, moody cat, Chuckles & the rest of her family. These are a definite must read.
