I laugh and find myself tempted by her hand, which sits on the metal table. After our impromptu snogging session, Jade put on a nice little sundress which has my imagination running wild and some strappy sandals. Her toes are painted a turquoise blue. I found it a little weird at first; normally I see reds or pinks on toes, but rarely a blue colour. I quite like it. I like it a lot. In fact, I’ve yet to find something about this woman I don’t like.
“And yet, you didn’t. I came over and kissed you. You could’ve punched me, kicked me in the nuts, or groped me. I’m grateful you let me kiss you the way I did.”
She blushes again. “Why did you? I’m sure there are other, more beautiful women at the resort that would’ve been happy to oblige you.”
“But then I wouldn’t be here with my pretend wife, trying to get to know more about her.”
Her eyes don’t waver from mine as she takes a sip of her cocktail. “Do you really want to get to know me?”
“The fake you, yes. I don’t want to get cornered by one of the triplets and not know my facts.”
“Are they in fact, triplets?”
I shake my head. “I haven’t got a bloody clue, to be honest with you. Fake tits all look the same at the end of the day.”
Her mouth falls open into a sexy little O and images of other ways I can make that happen pop straight into mind. “I named them Muffy, Tuffy, and Buffy. The names seemed fitting,” she says with a shrug.
I crack the fuck up. “Then that is what we’ll call them until they leave.”
“Do you know when that is? Or what room they’re in?”
I lean over the table and pick her hand up. “They leave after us, and no, I don’t, thank goodness. I don’t care either. I made you a promise and I always keep my promises.” I bring her hand to my lips and let them linger against her skin until a passer-by makes a comment about us being in love.
Not love, lust though, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose her to be my distraction this week. When I finally let go of her hand, she picks up her drink and finishes it.
“Want another one?” I ask, already standing by the time she nods. I lean down and kiss the top of her head, inhaling the scent of her shampoo. The smell of grapefruit assaults my senses, making my heart race. I groan as I walk into the restaurant. I could’ve easily waited for the waitress to come back to us, but I needed to step away from Jade for a minute. She’s fucking deadly with her innocent fa├žade and I have a strong reason to believe I’m going to fall victim to her and love every minute of it.
When I walk out, there’s a bloke talking to her as if it’s an everyday occurrence. I have never been jealous of any man until now. The pure rage I feel, watching him talk to my pretend wife almost takes over my body, yet I find the will to let it go. Who am I to stand in the way of her potential hook-ups?

5 Sexy Heels

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved this book. I loved the entire premise of it. Go on vacation, find someone to hang around with...that friends with benefit feel...and then forget all about it.

But the book is also about Destiny and accepting who you are and who others are. Jade goes to Bermuda on a much needed holiday. Her best friend forced her to go after a particularly difficult breakup with a guy who just couldn't seem to accept who her family was. This is always difficult for Jade and her family's history has haunted her since she was a child. It is a huge chip on here shoulder that she wants to never talk about or deal with. She also considers herself relatively plain.

Jackson who is British is taking a holiday before beginning a new life and a business expansion that will most definitely be difficult and time consuming. He is hot by all accounts and pretty much knows it.

A chance encounter in the hotel lobby begins a hot, passionate, quick romance that will knock them both on their arses. What could be easier? Lie about who you are, make things up as you go along, use false names and in the end? No clingy goodbye and no worries about a future together. But....nothing ever goes as it is planned and it seems Destiny has her own views on how this relationship (or non-relationship) will go.

I loved everything about it up to and including the chase and the final discovery that it is truly okay to embrace your past, your history, your family and your future!

5 Sexy Heels

I couldn't resist this book...a sexcation sounds amazing. And this Heidi did an amazing job not only making me want a sexcation, but also hooked me so far into the story that I didn't want to put it down. To me that makes a great book and this book did not disappoint.

This book is like the perfect fantasy...girl needs time away to clear her head; meets hot guy in the most amazing way; lots of hot sex and best part is no strings attached. Or so "Jade"  thought...

From the moment they meet and begin their "game" with no names or truths about who the truly are, I knew this book was going to be good. These to spend a week pretending and at the end of the week they part ways...no names, no contact information...nothing. But these two never expected what ended up happening by the end of the week. And when you think the story should end, Heidi throws in a twist that she had you wondering through the first half of the book and then when she drops that bomb, you will totally find yourself saying..."I knew it." But it will be so much better then you could possible imagine.

This book is fun, sexy and has an underlying message about self-image, fear of rejection, shame and acceptance. Plus, this is also an amazing story of kismet or maybe better described as destiny. So, if you love a hot romance with a swoon-worthy alpha male and enjoy a story with lots of twists, then you really need to check out this book. You will not be disappointed.
