HLMK- Teaser 4

Sometimes love needs a second chance… I never looked back after skipping out on my own wedding, even if it did leave me estranged from most of my family. Eight years later, I have the life I’ve always wanted. As an advertising account executive, my world is damn near perfect. Until I come face-to-face with my past. With the man I once loved. The man who holds my future in his hands. The man who’s hell-bent on getting even with me for leaving him at the altar. Even with all the unfinished business between us, I still love Knox Montgomery. The only problem? He loves me…KNOT.

About the Author:

RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. If you’re in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can’t recall the lyrics to a particular 80’s song, or just need to hang around a nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she’s your girl.

5 Sexy Heels

I'm loving RC Boldt more and more, the more books of hers I read. She has this great ability to bring larger than life characters as well as those unassuming perfect Southern Charm ladies and gentlement together to create a story that while snarky (which she does best) and funny are also completely full of emotion and character.

Emma Jane has loved Knox Montgomery nearly all of her life. SOMETHING (and let me tell you that you wait on pins and needles to find out what that something is) happens on her wedding day and she feels completely betrayed and walks away from the wedding. She meets Becket (who I absolutely love and adore) and embarks on changing her life after her decision to leave her groom at the alter creates chaos in her personal life.

Years later, the last person she expects to see again is her former love. Knox was completely destroyed by Emma Jane's actions and to this day has no idea what went wrong. Knox burrowed himself in to my heart so completely. He is just a beautiful, emotional and completely romantic man. (I particularly loved teen Knox so much)

These two are on a collision course with fate and the "helping hand" of several friends and family members. Will they be able to let the past go and get their second chance at love? "Sometimes love just needs a second chance, when it wasn’t quite ready the first time around."

5 Sexy Heels

From the moment I started this book, I knew I was in for a treat. I have yet to find an RC Boldt book that I don't fall head over heels in love with and this book was no exception. And I love that proper pronunciation is required prior to reading this book.

First, we meet Emma Jean...you get her side of the story, well more like it unfolds as very important events happen. I fell in love with her...she is my kinda chick. She is full of sassy, whit and damn good at what she does. Now that she has made a life for herself in Jacksonville, FL doing what she loves. It isn't until her ex-fiance buys the magazine she works for that all bets seem to be off. Is Knox going to seek his revenge from her leaving him at the alter or is he really going to give her a chance to not only keep her job, but maybe even get a promotion. Both Emma Jean and Knox both have their reasons for being hurt, but can they put the past behind them and move forward in whatever capacity that may be. With each twist and turn in this story had me turn the pages to see what was really going on and hoping that these to will find their HEA.

Check out this book and you will not be disappointed and you might find yourself falling in love with this author.
