4 Sexy Heels

Hockey romances rank pretty high on my favorite romance genre. There is just something about a hockey player that is oh so hot to me. So, when I was asked to review this book and new-to-me author it was hard to resist. I got very little sleep last night because I couldn't put this book down. I will definitely be checking out more of Jami Davenport's books. This book is a hockey romance, single dad romance and a redemption romance all wrapped up into one.

Brick has no idea what he is doing with his 5 year old daughter and doesn't feel like he is a good option for her, plus he is having a hard time giving up his old manwhore ways. This little girl won my heart the minute he answers the door. She is feisty and spunky and just needs to know she is secure and loved. So, I often found myself yelling at Brick and wanting to knock some sense into his head. How can he be so clueless and not fall completely in love with his daughter immediately? Amelia helps Brick figure things out all while trying to keep her self-imposed rules and keeping her distance. Easier said than done...and Brick is relentless. It was fun to see how he goes from manwhore extraordinar to loving father and boyfriend.

Check it out...this book has lots of layers of both fun and serious. It has the perfect balance to make this book so worth downloading. You might even find yourself a new favorite author.
